DHARMARAJA 2nd IN THE COUNTRY IN DEMAND BY 5TH STANDARD SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS.

The Education Ministry yesterday released the cut-off marks for students who sat the August 2013 Grade Five scholarship examination to gain admission to popular schools.

The highest cut-off mark of 186, was for Royal College and Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo. The second highest, 184, was for Dharmaraja College, Kandy, while the marks for Maliyadeva College Kurunegala and Mahamaya Balika Vidyalaya in Kandy were 183.

The highest cutoff mark for mixed schools, 174, were for Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya, Horana Takshila

Vidyalaya and Weeraketiya Rajapaksa Central College.

Highest cut off marks for students to gain admission to Tamil Medium through the Grade Five scholarship exam were D. S. Senanayake College, Colombo (174), Muslim Ladies College, Colombo 04 (175) and Cambridge Tamil Vidyalaya in Kotagala (165).
