A team from Dharmaraja college has been selected to participate at the World Scholars' Cup competition to be held in Dubai, from 31st of May to 1st of July 2013. The team consists of

B.M. Rankothge, has been able to gain international recognition for Dharmaraja on few previous occasions.
- Represented Sri Lanka at the Indonesian Elementary Mathematics International Contest (INAEMIC), held in Indonesia in 2006.
- Was a member of the Sri Lankan delegation for 'Let's Take Care of the Planet- 2010', international children and youth conference for the environment, held in Brazil in 2010.
- Was a member of the Bronze medal winning Sri Lankan senior team at the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) in 2010 and 2012, held in Korea and Taiwan, respectively.
- Won the national competition, and represented Sri Lanka at the Stolkholm Junior Water Prize competition, a research project competition held in Sweden in 2012, with 2 others from College, and won a diploma of honor.
He has passed G.C.E. O/L examination with 9 As, securing the Island Rank 3rd in 2011. Currently he is in Grade 12 (Physical Science stream) and has been selected as the Best Student for the academic year 2012/13. He is the president of the College's Nature and Youth Exploration Society for the year 2013/14 and is a member of College Science and Astronomical quiz teams.
Getting selected to the World Scholars' Cup is a great achievement.
